A four pack of sparkling blackcurrant cocktail made with only real ingredients. Our C.Cassis Spritz brings together lightly fermented Hudson Valley blackcurrants, with vibrant botanicals, citrus peel, crisp seltzer, and just a touch of wild honey.

  • C. Cassis was founded in December 2020 by Rachael Petach, who is both the founder and producer. Made in small batches throughout the year, around 18,000 bottles of the flagship C. Cassis Aperitif are produced annually. The spritz is a low abv, simple and convenient way to enjoy the aperitif - one of our favorite things to make since the beginning.

Cassis are not only good for the planet, but are also full of thriving health benefits to lift mind, body, and spirit (something we could all use, especially right now). The blackcurrant naturally contains 3x the daily value of vitamin C as well as being high in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, green cardamom is carminative and balancing, citrus rind is an immunity booster and lemon verbena is digestive and stress relieving.

Now with her local blackcurrant liqueur as a base (cassis means black currant in French), she’s introduced a spritz. Some botanicals, honey and citrus peels with seltzer added to the liqueur make for a refreshing, pleasantly fruity yet tart quencher at 5.4 percent alcohol-by-volume.
